One of the most usefull monsters in the deck Omega not only protects itself but ANY constellar monster that happens to be face up and considering how backrow heavy the format is nowdays its absolutely crusial you play him in your deck

The only real weakness omega has is its low atk you are going to need backrow to protect or the help of praesepe/pleiades still agaist a f/d minefield he is easilly the best choice 

 

+protection from nasty s/t

+doesnt require 2 constellars monsters making it splashable in most light decks

+easy to summon

+combined with honest/lance its going to give your opponent a hard time

+you can play cards like torrential/dark hole without fear of losing your own monsters 

 

-very weak for a rank4

-still vulnerable to counter traps
